We are known for our attention to detail, high-quality services, and commitment to superior sanitation. Our goal is to provide a relaxing, elevated experience where every guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for. Position Overview The Guest Experience Coordinator is more than a receptionist—you are the face of the salon and a key part of delivering the Shades experience. You set the tone for every visit, ensuring clients feel welcomed from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave. This role also plays a critical part in daily operations, supporting technicians, managing appointments, and contributing to the overall growth and client experience of the salon. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome clients with professionalism, warmth, and energy Manage phone calls, texts, and online bookings with a polished and friendly tone Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using salon software ( Vagaro experience is a plus ) Check clients in and out efficiently while maintaining accuracy in transactions Support nail technicians by assisting with client needs (beverages, polish selection, etc.) Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing front desk and salon environment Conduct walkthroughs to ensure overall cleanliness and readiness of the space Assist with resolving client concerns in a calm, solution-focused manner Capture photos/videos of completed nail services for social media and marketing Coordinate workflow and communicate effectively with the team to keep operations running smoothly Follow established opening and closing procedures to ensure the salon is fully prepared for daily operations Collaborate on marketing strategies and client engagement initiatives, including social media content ideas and in-house promotions Support retail sales by promoting products (including our signature cuticle oil) Contribute ideas to enhance the overall client experience and increase client retention Qualifications Previous front desk, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred Experience with Vagaro or similar booking systems is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills (in-person, phone, and digital) Professional appearance and brand-aligned presentation Positive, energetic, and client-focused attitude Ability to stay calm under pressure and problem-solve effectively Detail-oriented with strong follow-through Comfortable taking photos/videos for social media content Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented What We're Looking For Someone who: Naturally connects with people and creates a welcoming environment Takes pride in delivering exceptional service Is proactive, resourceful, and solutions-driven Brings positive energy to the team every day If you love creating great experiences, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for the beauty industry, we'd love to meet you.
