Responsibilities Open the store or facility promptly at the start of each shift, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and ready for business Conduct safety checks and inspections to confirm that all equipment and facilities are functioning properly Prepare cash registers, POS systems, and other operational tools for daily use Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist with initial inquiries to foster a positive first impression Coordinate with team members to communicate daily goals and prioritize tasks effectively Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the workspace Document opening procedures, checklists, and any incidents or irregularities encountered during the shift opening process Experience Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are key! Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in preparing daily operations Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and assist customers confidently Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems or similar technology is advantageous but trainable for motivated candidates This role is perfect for energetic individuals eager to start their day with purpose, contribute positively to their team, and develop foundational skills in retail or service environments.
