We are currently recruiting for a Grievance officer to join our team!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Grievance officer Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives. Assist in creating an emotional and physical environment conducive to the best interests of the residents and staff. Follow up on admissions concerns from residents, family and staff Assist admissions by helping with room moves and giving tours of the facility Contact residents to ensure that all their needs are being met, and their experience is positive Assist residents, family members and visitors with any special requests or arrangements Analyze complaints and take appropriate action to eliminate reoccurrence Oversee the grievance, angel rounds, and resident satisfaction programs Conduct admission and discharge surveys Follow up on negative google reviews and negative kiosk reviews Participate in the weekend manager on duty program Ensure updated weekly Kardex is provided to caring partners Discharge follow up phone calls Other duties as assigned by administratorJob Requirements:
Grievance officer Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine job duties. Must be able to communicate the philosophy of the facility. Be personable with residents, families, and staff in a professional and cooperative manner. Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding for the residents of the facility. Familiarity with nursing home regulations and resident rights Experience in healthcare compliance, patient advocacy, and dispute resolution Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues professionally. Organizational skills to track grievances and ensure timely resolutions.Qualifications and Skills:
Grievance officer (must meet one or more of the following) We are seeking team members who have the following qualifications and skills: CNA license in the state of Wisconsin LPN or RN license in the state of Wisconsin Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a healthcare related field 2 years' experience in a nursing home settingSimilar jobs in Milwaukee, WI
