Job Description

Leasing Specialist - Sheboygan Area Gorman & Company parental leave, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k) United States, Wisconsin, Sheboygan Apr 18, 2026 Join Our Team as a Leasing Specialist in Sheboygan, WI! At Gorman & Company, we're committed to making a difference through affordable housing. We're looking for a relationship driven Leasing Specialist for three of our properties in Sheboygan, WI. This role supports our Low-Income Housing Tax Credit communities, Garton Toy Factory (72-units), Washington School Apartments (42-units), and Sheboygan Riverwalk Apartment Homes (60-units). In this role, you'll balance multitasking and efficiency with genuine customer care, helping individuals and families secure housing their proud of.
What You'll Do:
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, delivering exceptional customer service. Conduct community tours and guide prospects through the leasing and application process. Prepare leases, applications, and resident documentation in accordance with LIHTC and workforce housing requirements. Complete follow-up communication with prospects and support resident retention efforts. Provide administrative support including filing, record maintenance, and service request coordination. Assist with compliance interviews and coordinate documentation with the Compliance team. Support outreach marketing, resident communications, and move-in/move-out processes.
What You'll Bring:
Previous leasing, sales, or customer service experience required. LIHTC experience preferred. Experience with RealPage / OneSite property management software preferred. Valid Drivers License and insurable driving record. Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc) preferred. Ability to manage deadlines and maintain accurate records and filing systems. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive hourly pay between $22-$24/hour based on experience.
