Job Description

The Cabana season will begin with a soft opening on May 15th . The role may start as early as May 5th for training , with training scheduled from May 5th to 14th ( subject to change ). The season will run from May 15th through the end of September . Beginning in August, operations will shift from weekdays to weekends only through the remainder of the season. Cabanas are closed on Mondays , with the exception of Memorial Day and Labor Day . We are open on the 4th of July . Priority will be given to applicants who are available to work these dates.
Shifts:
Opening shift (morning/lunch): 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM Closing shift (mid-afternoon to close): 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM As part of our kitchen team, you must maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and consistently keep clean and well-organized workstation . Responsibilities Maintain full knowledge of all menu items Prepare and execute food items according to established recipes and standards Execute all orders promptly and efficiently Follow proper food handling and storage procedures in accordance with federal, state, local, and company guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation at all times Summary As a Cook for the upcoming pool season at the Auburn University Club, you will play a key role in creating an enjoyable and memorable dining experience for members and guests. Working closely with the team, you will prepare and execute a variety of poolside menu items with consistency, efficiency, and attention to detail. This role requires strong kitchen fundamentals, including safe food handling, proper preparation techniques, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will help maintain quality standards while ensuring timely service during peak hours. A willingness to collaborate, adapt, and uphold the Club's commitment to excellence is essential.
