Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in assembling dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food items Support menu planning by preparing components needed for daily specials and regular menu offerings Cook food items with precision, maintaining consistency in flavor, texture, and appearance Assist with food service operations during busy hours, including plating and serving meals efficiently Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of orders Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings demonstrates strong culinary skills Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations is essential Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, catering, or serving enhances your suitability for this role Knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques are important for success in this position Knowledge of the food industry's best practices related to kitchen operations and food service is preferred Prior kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment will help you thrive in our energetic team Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
