Line Cook

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, ensuring that dishes are prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Assist in inventory management and stock rotation of kitchen supplies. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process, making adjustments as necessary. Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols. Help with catering events as needed, providing high-quality food service for special occasions. Requirements Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred. Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods is essential. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is required. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen team. A passion for cooking and helping others enjoy great meals is highly valued. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
