Job Description

Our client, healthcare and senior living services provider is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the kitchen support staff supporting senior residents' nutritional needs. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a passion for culinary excellence, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift:
7:00 am start, 8 hours per shift What's the Job? Prepare nutritious, flavorful, and well-balanced meals following established menus Ensure food safety regulations and client standards are met in every dish Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures Assist in preparing therapeutic diets tailored to residents' dietary needs Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area What's Needed? Experience as a cook or in a related culinary role Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations Ability to acquire food safety certification Basic math and counting skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills What's in it for me?
