Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious burgers and other menu items with precision and care. Your enthusiasm for food preparation, culinary skills, and commitment to food safety will help deliver an outstanding dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items, focusing on burgers, appetizers, and side dishes according to established recipes and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and storage spaces Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Ensure timely food service by coordinating with front-of-house staff to meet customer expectations Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, grills, fryers, and ovens Support catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring high-quality meal preparation Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, especially in kitchen or culinary roles Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and food service operations Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management Join us at Jack Brown's Burger Joint to bring your culinary passion to life!
