Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure efficient kitchen operations Handle food with care, ensuring proper food safety and hygiene practices are maintained at all times Use knife skills proficiently to chop, slice, dice, and portion ingredients accurately Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality and consistency Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food handling regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and exceptional food quality during busy hours Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven kitchen experience within the food industry or restaurant environment Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting Excellent knife skills and meal preparation abilities Familiarity with menu planning, food handling procedures, and catering operations Basic understanding of serving protocols and food service etiquette We're excited to welcome motivated individuals who are passionate about culinary arts!
