Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Schedule/Hours:
Days/hours vary; (24 hours per week) This position is responsible for: Prepares, cooks and serves nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules. Utilizes kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies in accordance with acceptable and economical cooking methods
Key Responsibilities:
Ensures meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner. Stores foods in safe and economical manner Cleans dining area. Cleans kitchen facilities and equipment. Maintains high degree of cleanliness in kitchen and dining area Maintain inventory of kitchen food and supplies to meet needs of kitchen. Receive donated goods and processes gifts-in-kind documentation.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a normal kitchen environment where there may be limited physical discomforts associated with working around hot stoves/ovens or cold freezers. Ability to lift, carry, or push/pull light objects (less than 25lbs.) Duties are usually performed by frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting relieved by lesser periods of sitting.
