Responsibilities Assist with menu planning and meal preparation, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and nutritional standards Prepare, cook, and serve meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness Handle food with proper safety procedures, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices Support dietary department operations by helping with food presentation, portioning, and plating Contribute to catering events or special meal services as needed, ensuring timely delivery and quality Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by following sanitation protocols and cleaning schedules Serve meals to residents or customers with professionalism, friendliness, and attention to dietary restrictions or preferences Requirements Prior experience in dietary assistance, food service, or kitchen environments is preferred Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation techniques, and cooking skills Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Experience in the food industry, including restaurant or catering settings, is advantageous Strong knife skills and meal preparation abilities are highly desirable Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join us in delivering nutritious meals with passion!
