Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish execution and ingredient quality Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and portioning of ingredients Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by efficiently managing meal preparation tasks Follow all food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting Experience with fine dining or catering environments is a plus Strong knife skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques are essential Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling practices Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment with excellent attention to detail Culinary experience that includes menu planning, food industry knowledge, and kitchen experience is preferred
