Job Description
Summary We are seeking a dedicated culinary professional to join our team at The Stonebreaker Hotel. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality food service and culinary excellence within our hotel restaurants. Located in an engaging environment, you will contribute to our mission of delivering outstanding hospitality. Responsibilities Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the menu specifications. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Completing opening and closing duties as assigned. Assist in menu planning and development to enhance guest dining experiences. Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Manage inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients effectively. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and food preparation. Monitor food presentation to ensure it meets the hotel's standards of quality. Contribute to a positive team environment by fostering collaboration among staff. Qualifications Proven experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Experience in menu planning is a plus but not required. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen.
