Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a keen interest in menu planning. The Cook will work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service and contribute to a positive dining experience. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu plans. Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in menu planning, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional food service to guests. Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and safety at all times.

Requirements:

Requirements Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary terminology, and kitchen equipment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with dietary aide practices is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new menu items is highly desirable. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
