Duties Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring to ensure timely meal assembly Assist with cooking and food preparation tasks following established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment Support the culinary team in meal assembly and plating to ensure presentation quality Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure proper food handling Help with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supplies needed Contribute to catering events by preparing large quantities of food with precision and efficiency Experience Prior experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Hands-on experience with menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques Background in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating strong kitchen skills Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Familiarity with culinary practices including knife skills, meal preparation, and food industry standards Experience in catering or serving is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Prep Cook and become an integral part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering delicious meals with care!
