Duties Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Follow recipes and menu plans to deliver authentic, flavorful meals that meet dietary specifications Handle food safely by maintaining proper hygiene, sanitation, and food handling procedures Assist with meal preparation for various service settings, including catering events and daily restaurant operations Use knife skills expertly to chop, slice, dice, and portion ingredients efficiently Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, equipment, and workstations for optimal workflow Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and excellent food presentation Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings with a focus on quality and efficiency Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Experience working in dietary departments or with dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Skilled in menu planning and understanding dietary restrictions or special meal requirements Excellent knife skills for precise ingredient preparation Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of food industry standards related to catering, serving, and food service operations Join us as a Line Cook and bring your culinary talents to life!
