- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and guidelines
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure food quality by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan menus and specials
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries
- Monitor food levels and replenish supplies as needed Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or culinary environment for at least 2 consecituve years.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the dietary department
- Familiarity with menu planning is a plus
- Certification in food handling or willingness to obtain one
