Duties Prepare and assemble menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature and handled safely following food safety protocols Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including knives and cooking tools Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring ingredient availability Support food preparation activities such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food delivery Follow all dietary guidelines and accommodate special dietary needs when necessary Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining settings Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide roles is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests Prior culinary experience in the food industry or catering services is highly recommended.
