In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision. Your expertise will help deliver memorable dining experiences, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that values your contributions. We are looking for a part time line cook. Must be available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. Average shift is 3pm-9pm. Great for High School students who aren't in sports or a second job for others. Qualifications Prepare food for service (e.g., make dough, cut veggies, prepare sauce) Processes prepared foods for service using ovens, gas stoves, and fryers Assure that each item is cooked to the restaurant standards and guest's specifications Answer, report and follow kitchen manager's instructions Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, burners, ovens, fryers and refrigeration equipment both during and after service Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Assumes responsibility for quality, food safety/sanitation and timeliness of products served Help with dishes and overall kitchen cleanliness Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Perform other related duties as assigned by the management staff Evenings and Weekends are needed Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant experience with a focus on quality service Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning, food industry standards, and culinary techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward serving others
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
