Responsibilities:

Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and cooking methods Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines accurately Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, measuring, and preparation of meals according to recipes and dietary requirements Cook food items using various cooking methods such as baking, grilling, and sautéing Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal service Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as knives, ovens, and grills Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas Assist with events as needed Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Join our team as a Prep Cook for Geordie's Restaurant & Lounge and be part of a dynamic culinary team that values teamwork, creativity, and exceptional food quality.
