The position may become regular/full time. The appropriate candidate will possess the following: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent time management skills Ability to multi-task Collaborate effectively with team members

Responsibilities :

Following all Health Department Rules/Procedures/Guidelines Cook must be able to order food and supplies to feed 90 persons. Cook must be able to oversee Assistant Cooks and evaluate performance. Cook must oversee kitchen operations to be in compliance with County Health Department and our contracting agency. Following pre-approved menu Portion Control Kitchen Cleanliness Prep and cook food that is tasty, pleasing to the eye and healthy. Prep and cook special diet food that is tasty, pleasing to the eye and healthy. Must be able to work some holidays and weekend day. 40 hours per week. Military veteran, retired law enforcement, and other experiences in a correctional facility are welcomed and encouraged to apply! At the time of application submission, the candidate MUST provide a 3 year DMV printout. A resume can be attached to the application, at that time.
