Job Description
Overview:
Little Anthony's Diner is seeking skilled Grill Cook and Fry Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and possess strong culinary skills. If you are passionate about food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes, and work in high volume kitchen; we want to hear from you.Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables and preparing meats
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with meal preparation and menu planning as needed
- Help maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role in the food service industry
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
