This position plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by ensuring all food is prepared accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established recipes and food safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and cook meats, seafood, poultry, and other menu items using broilers, grills, and related cooking equipment. Consistently achieve proper cooking temperatures and desired doneness levels. Set up and stock the broiler station with all necessary products and supplies before service. Maintain proper food rotation, labeling, and storage procedures. Ensure all food is presented according to club standards and specifications. Monitor product quality and communicate any concerns to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift. Follow all local health department regulations and food safety guidelines. Assist with prep work, inventory control, and receiving deliveries as needed. Work collaboratively with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service. Maintain equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly. Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience as a broiler, grill, or line cook preferred. Knowledge of meat temperatures, grilling techniques, and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and established procedures. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in hot kitchen conditions and around open flames and cooking equipment. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motions.
