Kitchen Manager / Executive Chef Position Summary The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to Whiskey Creek standards while maintaining food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and speed of service. This position works as part of a team to deliver an exceptional dining experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications. Set up and stock workstations before service. Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation standards are met. Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift. Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages. Follow all health department regulations and company policies. Assist with food prep, cleaning, and closing duties as assigned. Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Previous restaurant cooking experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Skills Grill, sauté, fryer, and prep experience preferred. Strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask under pressure. Team-oriented attitude. This position requires knowledge of Thai cooking techniques, ingredients, sauces, curries, and flavor profiles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and cook Thai menu items according to established recipes and standards. Prepare sauces, curries, marinades, and specialty ingredients. Ensure authentic flavor profiles and consistent food quality. Maintain proper food preparation, storage, and sanitation procedures. Monitor ingredient freshness and inventory levels. Assist with menu development and seasonal specials when requested. Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Follow all food safety and health department requirements. Work efficiently during high-volume service periods. Assist with kitchen prep and cleaning duties as needed. Qualifications Experience preparing Thai cuisine preferred. Knowledge of traditional Thai ingredients, spices, herbs, and cooking methods. Ability to maintain consistency in flavor and presentation. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Skills Experience with wok cooking and high-heat preparation. Knowledge of curry preparation and Thai sauces. Knife skills and food preparation techniques. Strong time management and organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Work in hot kitchen environments. Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
