The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, particularly in a fine dining environment, and will play a crucial role in meal preparation and kitchen operations. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food handling regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating kitchen equipment. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements. Qualifications Previous experience as a cook or in a culinary role is preferred, especially in fine dining settings. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
