401(k) Employee discounts Opportunity for advancement Job Summary The Brunch Corner is looking for a skilled and dependable Breakfast Cook to join our kitchen team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in preparing high-quality breakfast and brunch dishes in a fast-paced environment. Our ideal candidate has experience cooking breakfast favorites such as eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, French toast, skillets, and other brunch specialties while maintaining consistency, speed, and cleanliness. If you are passionate about food and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd love to meet you. This position is for the morning shift, approximately 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, depending on business needs. Responsibilities Prepare breakfast and brunch menu items quickly and accurately Cook eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, French toast, meats, potatoes, and other menu items to standard Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control Set up and stock cooking stations before service Keep kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary at all times Follow recipes, prep lists, and kitchen procedures Communicate clearly with front-of-house and kitchen team members Monitor inventory and notify management of low stock items Assist with prep work, cleaning, and closing duties Follow all health, safety, and food handling regulations Qualifications Previous experience as a breakfast cook, line cook, or similar kitchen role preferred Strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Team player with a positive attitude Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds Weekend availability required Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Benefits/Perks Flexible Scheduling Competitive Pay Growth Opportunities Supportive Team Environment Fast-Paced & Positive Workplace Employee Meal Discounts About Us The Brunch Corner is a welcoming brunch destination in Carmichael known for delicious food, coffee, mimosas, and warm hospitality.
