The ideal candidate is passionate about food, takes pride in consistency and cleanliness, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. While experience is valued, we're especially looking for motivated individuals eager to learn, grow with our team, and contribute from day one with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications Ensures all mise en place is prepared correctly and is ready before service Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout shifts Follow proper food safety, sanitation, labeling, and storage procedures Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met Assist with prep work including chopping, portioning, sauces, and station setup Cooks and plates dishes accurately, consistently, and to standard Communicate effectively with kitchen team and management Communicate shortages or prep issues early to avoid service disruption Properly label, date, and rotate products Helps put away deliveries, assist with prep, and support the dish pit as needed Completes opening and closing checklists accurately and consistently Completes cleaning tasks thoroughly and correctly Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with the team Qualifications At least 1 Reference Letter 1+ year kitchen or line cook experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment Strong sense of urgency, consistency, and organization Reliable attendance and punctuality Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
