Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Sauté Line Cook, where your passion for food and expertise in kitchen operations will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and flair, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Your culinary skills will contribute to creating a lively dining experience that delights our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food industry experience and thrive in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Duties Prepare, cook, and plate sautéed dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sauté station, including proper food handling and storage practices Assist in menu planning by suggesting seasonal or innovative dish ideas to enhance the dining experience Ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently, including proper knife skills and sanitation procedures Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service during busy hours Support catering events by preparing large quantities of sautéed items with consistency and quality Monitor inventory levels of ingredients specific to sautéed dishes and communicate needs for restocking Skills Proven culinary experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting with strong food preparation skills Extensive knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices Expertise in sautéing techniques, knife skills, and meal preparation methods Experience with menu planning, food industry standards, and catering operations Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve guests effectively Familiarity with dietary department requirements and dietary aide experience is a plus Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
