$21.00 - $23.00 per hour Job description: Job description: At Nosh bar, we are looking for a highly motivated, experienced and talented Hotline cook with exceptional culinary skills. Candidate must be able to work on weekends during our busy brunch service, which opens from 8:00AM and closes at 3:00PM (shift hours depends on opening or closing shifts) Duties Oversee food production and preparation to ensure highest quality and consistency of production according to business needs. Ensure items are ready and available on a daily basis. Oversee and maintain proper cleanliness, organization and sanitation is enforced to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Oversee, train and effectively lead kitchen staff to ensure they are able to successfully perform their duties. Effectively coach team to ensure high productivity and standards are performed daily Manage staff moral Monitoring and accurately ordering products according to business needs, prevent over/under ordering and wasting of products Oversee cost-effective measures to optimize kitchen expense Assist in the development of menu items Perform other duties assigned by Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager Ability to problem solve, manage and lead team in stressful situations Experience & Requirements 2+ years of line cook/hotline cooking experience or formal culinary training Saturday and Sunday are mandatory Full-service dining experience is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Must have ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment Knowledge of proper food safety handling procedures Basic understanding of inventory management Food Handler or ServSafe certification Looking forward to hearing from passionate and talented culinary professionals who are looking to join a dynamic team.
