In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and food preparation for daily operations. Ensure all food safety regulations are followed, including proper storage and handling of ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment, while assisting with cleaning dishes and what is needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Help with catering events as needed, ensuring all dietary requirements are met. Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation tasks. Support the head chef in any additional tasks as required. Must be able to lift 50lbs or under. Skills Experience in food service or the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Strong skills in food preparation and meal preparation techniques. Ability to assist in menu planning with creativity and attention to detail. Experience as a dietary aide is a plus. Proficient knife skills for efficient food prep.
