Line Cook

Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our standards for fine dining. You will work closely with the dietary department to ensure that all meals are prepared according to specific dietary requirements and guidelines. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and menu specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Follow all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge. Skills Proven experience in meal preparation within a kitchen setting. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Familiarity with dietary needs and restrictions is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficient knife skills and experience with various cooking techniques.
