Duties Lead and supervise the line cooks during all meal service periods, ensuring efficient kitchen operations Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes, menu specifications, and presentation standards Oversee food handling procedures to maintain strict safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations Assist with menu planning, ingredient ordering, and inventory management to ensure availability of fresh ingredients Coordinate with the culinary team to execute catering orders and special event menus with precision and flair Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety protocols at all times Experience Proven culinary experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting, demonstrating mastery of food preparation and cooking techniques Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus, showcasing familiarity with specialized meal requirements Strong background in menu planning, meal preparation, and food service operations within the food industry Skilled in food handling, knife skills, and food safety practices essential for high-quality meal production Experience in catering or large-scale food service environments is advantageous Demonstrated leadership abilities in a kitchen setting, with the capacity to guide and motivate team members Knowledge of dietary considerations and experience working within dietary departments or healthcare settings is desirable Embark on this vibrant culinary journey where your skills will shine!
