We are currently seeking a skilled and creative Lead Cook to join our culinary team.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality. Develop and execute creative and high-quality menus that meet dietary requirements. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Monitor inventory levels, control costs, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Collaborate with the culinary team to continuously enhance the dining experience for residents.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Cook or Sous Chef in a senior living or similar environment. Culinary degree or equivalent experience. Strong leadership and communication skills. Creativity in menu development and food presentation. Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation regulations.

Requirements:

Ability to work in a high-pressure kitchen environment. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Familiarity with diverse cooking techniques and cuisines. Updated food handler's certificate.

Schedule:

10:00 am-6:00 pm
