Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations Assist in menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring ingredient availability Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination Support catering events and special meal preparations as needed Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards Use knife skills proficiently for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients to ensure consistent quality Requirements Previous experience in a kitchen environment, including restaurant or food service experience Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols Strong knife skills with the ability to handle multiple ingredients quickly and safely Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and kitchen sanitation practices Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and learning Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
