Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service during busy hours. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment sanitation. Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of wok-based dishes with precision. Requirements Proven experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting, particularly with wok cooking or Asian cuisine. Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques essential for efficient meal assembly. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating attention to special dietary needs. Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining quality standards in a lively environment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers.
