About Gram Cafe & Pancakes:
At Gram Cafe & Pancakes, we emphasize precision in dessert preparation and presentation, particularly our renowned soufflé pancakes. For our upcoming Irvine franchise, we are hiring skilled BOH professionals committed to quality and efficiency in a collaborative kitchen.
What You'll Do:
  • Work across our three stations: Hot station (savory preparation), Premium station (desserts and specialty sweets, including soufflé execution), and Dish/prep (cleaning and foundational prep), with cross-training to ensure flexibility and coverage.
  • Prepare, cook, and plate signature items including pancakes and desserts, focusing on consistency, presentation, and portion control.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to precise measurements and hygiene standards.
  • Support high-volume service by expediting orders, restocking ingredients, and collaborating with FOH for timely delivery.
  • Participate in progressive training: Entry-level starts with dish/prep, advancing to hot line, then premium station for qualified team members.
What We're Looking For:
  • At least 1 year of kitchen experience, with a focus on desserts or pastry preparation and plating.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational habits; experience in clean, methodical environments required, especially for premium station roles.
  • Ability to adapt to specialized techniques and perform effectively under pressure, with openness to cross-station rotation.
  • Clear communication skills and a team-oriented approach to prep and production.
  • Flexibility for early mornings and closing shifts; interest in elevated casual cuisine. Why Join Us?
