Dietary Cook

• Skilled Nursing Facility
• Must have food handlers card Preparing meals for 138 patients, following recipe according to the scheduled menu and patients diet restrictions.

Must have a min 1 year experience working in a skilled nursing home. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: preparing food that is in accordance with the current applicable federal, state, and local standards as well as the guidelines and regulations. Following the company's established policies and procedures on food safety. In order to ensure that the quality of food service is provided at all times, Dietary cooks may need to follow any instructions from the Dietetic Services Director and Register Dietitian. The Dietary Cook is also responsible for providing high quality food prep, plate presentation, and provide service to all residents. Dietary cook must also possess the general knowledge and demonstrate excellence in various food preparation techniques, serving methods, portion control standards, and other general nutritional requirements. Dietary Cooks are also required to maintain their cooking items and area clean at all times. Reports To Dieteary Supervisor. Aide Assisting Cook and Dietary Manager with kitchen tasks
