This role involves providing exceptional food service, assisting with meal preparation, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food handling, kitchen operations, and customer service within the food industry. Duties Prepare and serve meals according to menu specifications, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to support diverse dietary needs Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures Participate in food preparation activities including cooking, chopping, and assembling dishes Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations Support catering events and special meal services as needed Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, utilizing knife skills and other culinary techniques Provide excellent food service by attending to customer needs and ensuring satisfaction Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely meal delivery Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or the food industry is preferred Knowledge of menu planning, food safety protocols, and catering operations Experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is advantageous Strong culinary skills including food preparation, cooking, knife handling, and meal assembly Familiarity with food handling regulations and sanitation standards Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work Flexibility to work various shifts as needed for operational requirements This role is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who thrive in fast-paced environments focused on quality service and safety.
