Role:
The Line Cook at Los Angeles Athletic Club plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, nutritious, and appealing meals to club members and guests. This Full-time position focuses on preparing a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and health standards, ensuring food safety and customer satisfaction. The cook will collaborate closely with kitchen staff to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment while managing food inventory and minimizing waste. Attention to detail and consistency in food preparation are essential to uphold the club's reputation for excellent dining experiences. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to member enjoyment and the overall success of the club's food service operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous experience working as a cook in a cafeteria, restaurant, or similar food service environment. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks. Valid food handler's permit or certification as required by local regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a club or hospitality setting. Culinary training or certification from an accredited institution. Familiarity with menu planning and inventory management. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and portion controls.
