General Manager / Kitchen Manager About the Role We are looking for a skilled, experienced, and reliable Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas consistently during service, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting overall back-of-house operations. Ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced environment, understand efficiency and timing, and take pride in producing visually stunning, delicious food. Key Responsibilities Prepare, stretch, and cook pizzas according to our recipes and standards Maintain consistency in dough making, handling, toppings, seasoning, and presentation Operate pizza oven safely and manage oven temperature throughout service Execute prep tasks including dough portioning, sauce prep, slicing toppings, and station setup Maintain a clean and organized workstation before, during, and after service Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations Assist with general kitchen prep, stocking, and cleaning as needed Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service Monitor inventory levels and notify kitchen leadership of any shortages Uphold brand standards for food quality and plating Qualifications Previous experience as a pizza cook, line cook, or similar role in a high-volume kitchen Experience with deck ovens, wood-fired ovens, or similar is a plus Strong understanding of dough handling and baking fundamentals Ability to multitask and perform under pressure Excellent attention to detail and consistency Food Handler's Certification (required) Strong work ethic, punctuality, and positive attitude Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Opportunities for advancement as we grow Staff meals, team culture, and a supportive environment A chance to be part of a standout hospitality concept in DTLA
