Job Description

Cook Job Description Snow Mountain, LLC is located in the spectacular Lassen Volcanic National Park in California. As one of the country's oldest national parks, Lassen is consumed with gorgeous hiking trails, picturesque lakes that afford fishing and kayaking, and cabins and campgrounds for the those that want to experience the rustic feel of the beautiful outdoors!
Summary of Position:
As a Culinary Team Member, you will play a vital role in preparing food items in alignment with Corporate recipes and established standards. Your dedication to delivering outstanding hospitality will contribute to our mission of surpassing guest expectations.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager and Lead Cook to uphold the approved menu and exceed guest service expectations. Embrace a positive, can-do attitude as a valued member of our efficient and highly motivated culinary team. Follow defined Company recipes and Safe Food Handling procedures to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Complete all required food and safety logs promptly, adhering to Company procedures and regulatory standards. Obtain ServSafe or State Food Handler Certification in accordance with F&B company policy. Adhere to time and attendance policies, being flexible to work a variety of shifts, including day, night, weekend, and holiday schedules. Understand and uphold the Company's ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, Health and Safety standards, policies, goals, and initiatives.
Position Requirements:
Knowledge of food preparation and storage, sanitation requirements, and commercial kitchen equipment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to positively interact with various personality types. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, spending the majority of the shift on your feet and in close proximity to others. Physical capability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, with frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting.
