Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly. Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude. Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling procedures responsibly. Upsell menu items to enhance sales and maximize customer satisfaction through suggestive selling techniques. Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones by bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met. Assist in food safety practices, proper food handling, and adhering to health regulations within a quick service or fast food restaurant setting. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or food service roles within the food industry or retail environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and effective communication abilities. Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or café environment is a plus; retail math skills are beneficial for daily operations.
