The Role:

Line/Prep Cook You'll be a key part of our kitchen operations, moving fluidly between our savory and pastry programs . Every shift, you'll: Execute with precision

• Prepare batch recipes, bake pastries, and manage prep work to our standards Maintain excellence
• Keep your station clean, organized, and food-safe throughout service Work as a team
• Coordinate with cooks and the kitchen manager to keep momentum and quality high Think ahead
• Monitor inventory, flag supply needs, and communicate proactively Own the details
• Follow recipes and portioning standards while developing your instincts for quality This is morning-focused work with occasional overtime.

You'll have a direct relationship with our kitchen manager and visible impact on what goes out every day.

What We're Looking For Required:

Prior experience as a prep cook, line cook, or similar kitchen role

Bilingual:

Spanish & English (You'll work alongside Spanish-speaking teammates and serve a Spanish-speaking community—this helps us collaborate better and serve our customers authentically) Food safety knowledge and commitment to sanitation Ability to stay sharp and efficient in a fast-paced kitchen Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Team-first mindset and willingness to help wherever needed

Preferred:

Experience across multiple stations (savory, pastry, or both) Familiarity with batch cooking or high-volume prep Experience in a growing kitchen or startup environment

Compensation & What's Included Total Earning Potential:

$24

• 25/hour Base pay: $18/hour (negotiable based on experience)

Tips:

• 7/hour average (morning café culture typically tips well)

The Schedule Primary:

Morning hours (typically 6:00 AM
