Duties Assist in planning and developing menus that meet dietary needs and preferences, ensuring variety and nutritional balance Prepare, cook, and serve meals with precision, adhering to food safety standards and portion control guidelines Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination Support catering events by preparing dishes, setting up serving stations, and ensuring timely delivery of meals Serve residents or guests with friendly, attentive service, fostering a positive dining atmosphere Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal service and uphold high-quality food presentation Requirements Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation techniques, and cooking methods Hands-on experience in food service environments such as restaurants or catering operations Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Proficiency in culinary skills including knife skills, meal preparation, and food presentation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and serve customers effectively Join us if you're passionate about creating nourishing meals that bring joy!
