Kitchen hours are 10A-9P, 360 days, holidays and special event catering.

FRIDAY (4PM-10PM), SATURDAY (4PM-10PM), SUNDAY (10AM-9PM), MONDAY (10AM-9PM)
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking methods Passion for customer service Positive attitude during fast paced service Dependable Ability to communicate effectively Currently seeking PT coverage (22-30 hrs per week) Open availability is a plus
Position Responsibilities:
Prep, season and cook food according to orders, recipes and experience Full break downs, clean downs, sanitizing stations and kitchen Prep pars, and set stations for rush Substitute for or assist other cooks during emergencies or rush periods Line cook, Prep cook, Catering as needed during the week Examine, label and store raw, frozen or prepared food supplies appropriately Use food loss prevention methods including food costing, portion and quality control, FIFO, stock rotation and ensure leftover / unused food products are stored, restocked or disposed of properly Ensure kitchen appliances and equipment are clean and turned off at end of working day Assist with or direct Kitchen inventory management, including notifying management of shortages Follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents Maintain work area in sanitized and orderly manner in compliance with county and state health and safety regulations Comply with all Food Handler programs and principles Communicate effectively with staff, Head Chef, owner and/or management team Report any health and/or safety concerns immediately to the management team Commitment to the service values and ethics of

Must be able to correctly and safely use standard kitchen equipment, tools and utensils Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for food preparation Product ordering and receiving, record-keeping, organization skills Menu Planning and Identify new recipes for use Possess Food Handler certification Professional interpersonal relations Time management Compliance with local, state and federal employment mandates
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to lift a minimum of 25 # Ability to work on their feet 7.5 hour per day, during non-break time Employee has to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods and maintain professionalism
