ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Cook at our Cafe, you will represent Skechers in a friendly and professional manner while preparing and presenting menu items efficiently and consistently. The Line Cook is responsible for ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. The line cook must comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards and maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers. The Line Cook will follow all standard policies and procedures within their assigned department.

OFF DAYS
/ 10am - 6:30pm (Split Shift/Closing)
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment according to restaurants standardized recipes. Complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures. Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period. Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications. Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range, and refrigeration equipment. Prepares items for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and/or marinating. Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes. Handle, store and rotate all products properly. Perform other general duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS
