Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance Assist with menu planning by suggesting creative ideas and ensuring ingredient availability Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination Support kitchen team members during busy service periods, ensuring timely meal preparation Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, stoves, and fryers Ensure all food served meets quality standards and presentation expectations Requirements Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment, preferably as a cook or dietary aide Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices Experience with meal preparation, catering, and serving is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with dietary department procedures and menu planning is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues Embark on a culinary journey where your skills make a difference!
