The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes, ensuring each dish meets quality, taste, and presentation standards. They must maintain solid knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen procedures while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Daily duties include setting up and organizing their workstation, assisting with food preparation tasks like chopping and portioning, and managing ingredients properly to minimize waste. In addition, the Line Cook must follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to keep the kitchen clean and safe. Strong communication and teamwork are essential, as they work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service. Overall, the role supports delivering a high-quality dining experience by maintaining consistency, professionalism, and efficiency in every aspect of food preparation. Previous line experience preferred. Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred. Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills. Able to work single station in the kitchen.
