This position is in Food and Nutrition Services of the Veterans Home of California, Yountville and is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the preparation, cooking, and serving of food to residents, guests, and employees; evaluate food quality; requisition and inspect supplies; oversee the storing and inventorying of food, equipment, and supplies; conduct inspections and maintain safe food handling practices and sanitation standards; supervise and assist in the maintenance of culinary equipment, supplies, and work areas; and complete other related work.
